Workshop Science Communication to Politicians

Scientists and Politicians – Incompatible Species?
Politicians needs sound scientific advice. Strengthening the transfer of knowledge into action has been one of the most visible political demands in science policy for some years now. So far, so good. But often science and politics seem to be two entirely different worlds. Where one deals with methods, facts and long time scales, the other can seem emotional and fast-paced from the outside. In this workshop, we want to explore this gap between the two worlds and develop ideas on how you can play a role in bridging it.
